Starlight DJ Services has a Certified Wedding and Event Planner on staff. We cover all aspects of wedding and event planning whether it is for the whole wedding or event, certain parts of it or just for the day of the wedding or event. Why do I need a Wedding/Event Planner?
Some people are born organizers and have the time to take care of everything for their wedding or special event. Depending on the size and complexity of your wedding you may be one of those people. However, when the service requirements become multi-faceted, the function complicated and the budget tricky, your time is at a premium. If the emotional stakes are high (as with wedding planning) or if you just require some direction and advice, hiring an event planner to orchestrate either some or all of the details can be your best insurance policy against disappointment.

We will provide invaluable help on a day that is a very emotional experience. No matter where your wedding is held, whether in a hall, private club, hotel, outdoors or in your home, the guidance provided by our professional staff can make your wedding experience a wonderful one by organizing the many details involved. From calculating liquor and mix requirements, purchase and delivery to developing menus and obtaining qualified and reliable staff, our weddings and event coordinator can help assure all details are acknowledged and taken care of.

SERVICES WE PROVIDE:

Organizing your own wedding with my help:

If you don’t know where to start or who to talk to, I will help you to set up your plan of action and put you in touch with all of the right people for your wedding needs.

Organizing your own wedding with my help includes:

  • A private, one-on-one consultation to go over the details of your wedding and what you might need from me.
  • These services would include finding some venues and vendors for you to choose from (I would give you only the ones that would fit your criteria) and giving you some guidance on a schedule of events.
Coordinator only for your wedding day:

If you have already organized and planned your own wedding, but need someone to be there on your wedding day to make sure that everything happens as planned, then this is the service that you need.

Coordinator only for your wedding day includes:

  • A private, one-on-one, 1 hour consultation at least one month prior to your wedding to go over your itinerary for the day, going over your vendor list and any special needs for the day including providing a prepared list of the names of the key people and their activities and expectations.
  • We will also attend the final meeting with your vendors/venue to get all of the final details and to ensure that you don’t miss any important details.
  • Includes our attendance at the rehearsal to lend our assistance and to meet the key people involved in making your wedding day special.
  • This service includes up to eight hours on your wedding day (You can add more hours if needed for an additional rate).
  • We will arrive approximately 2 hours before the ceremony to ensure that the chosen vendors have arrived and set up as requested. We will also make sure that everyone knows the itinerary and proper positioning for everything. We will handle any of their questions and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
  • We will escort the bride once she arrives at the ceremony and make sure that all of the wedding party and significant people are in place for the ceremony.
  • After the ceremony, we will attend for the pictures and help with position set ups for the photographer.
  • At the reception we will make sure that everything is in place before it begins and help with all procedures in the itinerary. (We will set up any items that may be brought from the ceremony site, flowers, centerpieces, favors, and guest book.)
  • We will then work with the master of ceremonies to keep everything going smoothly and coordinate throughout the dinner and reception. (Dinner will be included for the wedding coordinator in this service.)
  • We will stay until the last event takes place (usually after the cake cutting or the first dance.)

Partial planning service including wedding day coordination:

This is for the couple who still wants hands on with the vendors with my assistance on what vendors to choose, setting up itinerary, and more.

Partial planning service including wedding day coordination includes a combination of both services in 1 & 2 as follows:

  • A private, one-on-one, consultation prior to your wedding to go over your pre-prepared draft of your itinerary, vendor list and any special needs for the day including providing a prepared list of the names of the key people and their activities and expectations.
  • Up to 12 hours of Pre-planning time
  • Finding the venue and vendors for you to choose from, if necessary. ( I would give you only the ones that would fit your criteria.)
  • Giving you some guidance on an itinerary of events, if needed.
  • We will also attend the final meeting with your vendors/venue to get all of the final details and to ensure that you don’t miss any important details.
  • Includes our attendance at the rehearsal to lend our assistance and to meet the key people involved in making your wedding day special.
  • This service includes up to eight hours on your wedding day (You can add more hours if needed for an additional rate).
  • We will arrive approximately 2 hours before the ceremony to ensure that the chosen vendors have arrived and set up as requested. We will also make sure that everyone knows the itinerary and proper positioning for everything. We will handle any of their questions and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

This is for the busy Bride and Groom or those who would just like to enjoy the whole wedding process without the stress. I will provide unlimited hours from start to finish taking care of all the details for your wedding.

The Complete Wedding Package service includes a combination of all services in 1, 2 & 3 as follows:

  • A private, one-on-one consultation to go over your itinerary, preferred vendors and any special needs for the day including preparing a list of names of the key people that will be taking part in your wedding day and their activities and your expectations.
  • Preparing a complete budget and timeline for all events leading up to and including your wedding day. Also helping you to plan your honeymoon, if necessary.
  • Finding the venue and vendors for you to choose from (I would give you only the ones that would fit your criteria) and booking them for you, if necessary.
  • We will also have a final meeting with your vendors/venue to get all of the final details and to ensure that no important details are missed.
  • Includes our attendance at the rehearsal to lend our assistance and to meet the key people involved in making your wedding day special.
  • This service includes *unlimited regular hours from the first day that our commitment begins to the time that you throw your bouquet and garter.
  • We will arrive approximately 2 hours before the ceremony to ensure that the chosen vendors have arrived and set up as requested. We will also make sure that everyone knows the itinerary and proper positioning for everything. We will handle any of their questions and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
  • We will escort the bride to the ceremony and make sure that all of the wedding party and significant people are in place for the ceremony.
  • After the ceremony, we will attend for the pictures and help with position set ups for the photographer.
  • At the reception we will make sure that all vendors and decorations are in place before it begins and help with all procedures in the itinerary.
  • We will transport and set up any items that may be brought from the ceremony site.
  • We will make sure that flowers, centerpieces, favors, and guest book are ready for when your guests arrive.)
  • We will then work with the master of ceremonies to keep everything going smoothly and coordinate throughout the dinner and reception. (Dinner will be included for the wedding coordinator in this service.)
  • We will stay until the last event takes place (usually after the cake cutting, first dance or the bouquet and garter toss.)
*Any major last minute changes will be charged an overtime fee.
